As your muscles get stronger, you can try doing kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking. For best results, focus only on tensing your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to tense the muscles in your stomach, thighs or buttocks. Avoid holding your breath. Instead, you breathe freely during the exercises. Repeat three times a day. Aim to do at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day.
